Custom Programs
I have written a couple of smaller custom programs and am currently involved with 2 larger projects using VB .NET. I also have written several scripts for use in ArcView. I have also built some dynamic web pages using PHP and MySQL for AIM. Check out the build your own system link for examples. They are still under development due to lack of time for thorough testing.
SchoolBell
The first program I've written in VB 6 for Delta Academy is a simple little program to control a USB relay which in turn controls the Bell System.
The picture is fairly self explanatory, click the days you want it to ring, fill in the times and hit Save. There are 4 seperate schedules that can be saved, and more than enough time slots for any school. Also included are basic Fire and Tornado Alarm buttons, as well as a manual ring button.
The High School and Elementary are seperate, however it is not necessary to use both of them. You can simply hide the Elementary window if it is not needed.
Tank Monitor
The second program is a little more complicated. It was made for Graeber Bros Inc. here in Marks.
It is used in conjunction with hardware used to monitor the amount of propane in their storage tanks. It takes a data file, and converts it into an "easier to read" format and outputs only the needed data into another file for spreadsheet use.
